Positive: The property is beautiful, everything you could want for a family. Spacious, clean, the location is perfect and even though you’re so close to the beach having the pool makes it just perfect! Such a lovely couple, so accommodating, they’ve thought of everything! And so kind and welcoming!

Positive: Kostas and Maria were amazing hosts who went out of their way for us from the moment we arrived. They had a cheese pie, wine , fresh fruit and soft drinks waiting for us. Maria cooked us the most amazing moussaka one evening and they left us gifts of homemade raki and olive oil. The house is in a great location. Only minutes from some shops, 2 bakeries, the beach and lots of restaurants. The facilities are excellent. Weather was hot so the pool was a great bonus. Despite being so close to everything the house is located on a really quiet road so it is really private. We would highly recommend this lovely house.

Positive: Location is fab, shops, tavernas and beach all within 5 minutes walk. The owners Kostas and Maria (who are such lovely people) met us at the property with the keys. We also had water and wine and a lovely feta cheese pie cooked ready to eat on arrival. The property and pool were immaculatey clean. The pool was cleaned regularly by Kostas and Maria actually cooked lunch for us one day which was lovely. We could'nt have asked for better hosts, we would not hesitate to come back, it was the most fabulous 2 weeks we have ever spent.

Positive: Everything about the villa and the hosts are exceptional. We arrived a little late after a slight delay with our flight but we were greeted with beaming smiles and hugs from Maria and Kostas. We were astonished to find fruit, wine, water, soft drinks and other items left for us as well as a delicious cheese pie. During our stay we were treated to a beautiful home made meal from them and in fact I was quite overcome at their friendliness and generosity, we all wished we had booked for longer. The house was sparkling clean with 3 lovely bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with lots of towels, and the pool was cleaned and maintained every day. The location couldn't be better just a couple of minutes walk to the village square with lovely small bars and cafes and seconds further to the beach and exceptional restaurants. There were lots of mini markets and a large supermarket further on, we walked there one day and called a taxi to take us back so there was no need to hire a car but if you wanted to there was private parking in the villa grounds. I could not recommend this villa and hosts more, we have stayed in many villas on Crete and other locations in Europe but for us this was the best and we will definitely be going back when there is availability.

Positive: Immaculate-kept, spacious villa well-positioned just a 5 minute walk to the beach. The pool and garden area were absolutely beautiful with flowers and fruit trees abounding. Our hosts were incredible - so welcoming and friendly. They made us feel like part of their family! We arrived to a hot cheese pie and hugs of welcome. The villa itself was pristine and had everything we needed. We enjoyed Kalyves and all it has to offer and also took many day trips. We would not hesitate to recommend this villa - it superseded our expectations and we hope to return one day. Our hosts truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect in every way!!

Positive: Maria and Kostas were the perfect hosts . They met us on arrival at the Villa . So warm and friendly , a home made cheese pie waiting for us ! Fridge was fully stocked with juice and water , and they left us fresh fruit / tea / coffee / sugar and bread too ! The Villa was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed . After 3 days my son was taken ill and I had to take him to the hospital, leaving my elderly father behind . Maria and Kostas not only visited me at the hospital 3 times to see if I was ok and if I needed anything , they also made my sure my father was ok and took him food and water . I can’t thank them enough for their kindness . I would give them 100 stars if I could !
